Inspired by my father's favourite flowers, this painting became an exploration of strength, resilience, and the ability to keep turning towards the light, even when life feels challenging.
There is something powerful about sunflowers. They stand tall and bend with the wind, reminding me that strength isn't about never facing difficult times, but about finding the courage to keep going, to adapt, and to stand firm through life's challenges.
Through my work, I hope to capture these little reminders of the natural world's beauty and the connection we can find within it. I want my paintings to bring a sense of calm, warmth, and meaning into the spaces we call home.
